Police: Sexual assualt account unfounded
A Columbia College student claimed to have been sexually assaulted April 4 on the 700 block of South Federal Street but her claim has turned out to be unfounded, according to Detective Thomas McGreal of the Chicago Police Department's 1st District.Click here to read the rest of this story.

Live: The Smashing Pumpkins
As Machina / the Machines of God, rapidly falls off of the Billboard 200 chart, it seems that if you are a rock star, your career is over. (Unless you are a Hip-Metal-Hop band, then you are on the top, under the "Boy Bands" of course.) But on April 15 and 16 in the year 2000 of our lord, you could not tell The Smashing Pumpkins that. Hup Fire, Uber Alles!
Eight guys were playing four-on-four short-goal soccer in the rain. The ground was wet, it was difficult to pass and it was difficult to shoot. As these guys slid around in the rain they seemed to be having the time of their lives.
