Nearing the end of the semester

We are nearing the end of the semester here at the Chronicle, everyone has tummies full of turkey and a brain full of finals. The annual Chronicle Christmas party is coming up, I can see that everyone in the office is excited. We had a short production week last week, and I think everyone is still recovering from it. More and more people seem to stop in and drop off resumes to this great place. The writers are hard at work writing about their very thoughtful feelings. Everyone is excited for the semester to end, but not excited for the holiday break away from each other. We will enjoy our holiday party as it is our annual goodbye to one another. Everyone seemed to have a great Thanksgiving, everyone stayed safe and sound. I can tell from the quiet of the office, that everyone still seems full from leftovers of turkey sandwiches and mashed potatoes. How was your Thanksgiving readers?
